1. History & Strategic Positioning
Founded in 2007, SOFTLINK MEDICAL initially focused on minimally invasive surgical staplers. By analyzing global trends of minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment, we identified critical pain points of conventional split-type endoscopic imaging systems: large footprint, high cost, poor mobility, and incompatibility with mobile & field clinical scenarios. In 2014, the company strategically pivoted to the medical visualization track, focusing on the R&D of all-in-one endoscopic imaging core technologies.
2. Core Technology & Product Portfolio
Our dedicated R&D team has conquered over 30 key sub-technologies including image enhancement, color calibration, intelligent exposure control, and high-definition video encoding & decoding, realizing full-link technical integration. After 30 months of intensive R&D and over 500 cross-department clinical validations, we launched the self-developed DRAGONSHOT Full HD All-in-One Endoscopic Imaging System in June 2016, disrupting the industry-dominating split-type equipment pattern.
In 2021, we completed product iteration and launched two major series: 4K UHD and Full HD imaging systems. The product lineup includes 2-in-1 / 3-in-1 camera systems, medical HD monitors, and multi-spec endoscopic cold light sources, fully covering diversified clinical demands for minimally invasive procedures.
3. IP Assets & Forward-looking Technology Reserve
The company holds 16 invention patents and more than 60 utility model patents, forming a solid IP barrier for all-in-one imaging technology. We have also achieved breakthroughs in cutting-edge fields such as low-light starlight imaging, ultra-high-speed lossless wireless transmission, and detachable high-definition electronic sensors. These reserves support the R&D of next-generation products including wireless all-in-one imaging platforms and single-use electronic endoscopes, as well as the intelligent, wireless and networked upgrading of existing devices.
