We are SGS, an internationally‑acknowledged organization for testing, inspection and certification, widely regarded as the benchmark for sustainability, quality and integrity. Our global service network consists of more than 100,000 employees together with 2,500 laboratories and branch offices.
SGS‑CNIC Standards Technical Services Co., Ltd. was jointly established in 1991 by SGS Group and China Standards Technology Group under the State Administration for Market Regulation. Its Chinese name originates from the initial characters standing for General Surveyor and Standards Metrology Bureau. Up to now, we have built over 100 branches and more than 220 laboratories nationwide, staffed by over 16,000 well‑trained professionals.
SGS is the first Sino‑foreign‑invested third‑party inspection body in China accredited to ISO 17020 by China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). Our laboratories hold accreditations granted by numerous authoritative organizations including CNAS, CMA, IECCC, GS, DAKKS, UKAS, HOKLAS, KFDA, JPMA, ISTA, CCC and cGMP.
