The LD‑pumped near‑fundamental‑mode 10‑kW‑class fiber laser (supported by the 14th‑Five‑Year National Key R&D Program) solves the worldwide challenge of generating near‑fundamental‑mode 10‑kW laser output by direct laser‑diode pumping and achieves commercialization. It delivers beam quality of M²=1.13 at 10.14 kW, a world‑first achievement.
