Shanghai Pulisheng 3D Technology Co., Ltd. (known as Prismlab) was founded in 2005. It is a high‑tech enterprise specializing in R&D of 3D‑printing‑related technologies. The company develops a wide range of 3D‑printing devices applicable to multiple sectors, alongside customized resin materials jointly developed with BASF, Germany’s global chemical giant. Integrating R&D, sales and after‑sales services, Prismlab’s products are sold in more than 50 countries and regions worldwide.
Prismlab mainly engages in the R&D, manufacturing, sales and technical services of high‑speed SMS photopolymerization‑based 3D printers, with nearly 30% of its workforce dedicated to technical research. Drawing on its accumulated expertise in photosensitive technology and mass‑production experience, Prismlab made cross‑industry strides starting from 2013 and independently developed its proprietary MFP photopolymerization 3D‑printing technology. Building upon this platform, the company launched its Rapid‑Print series of high‑speed 3D rapid‑prototyping systems together with matching photopolymer resins.
As a technology‑driven 3D‑printing enterprise, Prismlab has independently overcome numerous technical challenges over the past decade and obtained more than 70 patents to date. Notably, the project Micro‑nano Primitive‑Based Cross‑scale Additive‑Manufacturing Equipment and Its Applications, jointly developed by Prismlab, Southeast University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Suzhou Huayuan Holding Co., Ltd., won the First‑Class Prize of Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. Mr. Hou Feng, Chairman of Prismlab, also received this top‑grade award for his outstanding contributions to this project.
Thanks to these technological breakthroughs, Prismlab has greatly boosted the development of China’s domestic 3D‑printing industry. What began as a start‑up with only a handful of employees in 2005 has now grown into a high‑tech enterprise with nearly 200 staff members.
